Intertech Flooring Named -
Top Six Finalist
for
Ethics Award

AUSTIN, TX ): Commercial
flooring company Intertech Flooring has been named one of the
top six finalists, out of 59 companies nominated, for the 2002
Ethics in Business Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations
for high ethical standards and practices.
The Ethics in Business Awards are sponsored by the Samaritan
Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care and St. Edward's University,
both based in Austin, TX, and were awarded to businesses and
individuals with a proven commitment to developing and practicing
the highest ethical standards in their policies, programs and
actions. Finalists were chosen following an extensive selection
process involving conducting background checks on nominees, and
reviewing financial profiles, possible discrimination claims
and philanthropic giving policies.
"Being recognized as a top-six finalist for this ethics
award is a real success for our company. It just confirms that
all of the hard work and dedication our staff contributes day-in
and day-out is truly the best way to run our business," Intertech
President and CEO Bill Imhoff said.
Other business finalists included Applied Materials Inc. [Nasdaq:
AMAT], Athens Group Inc., Hart InterCivic Inc., 3M Co. [NYSE:
MMM] and The Think Tank.
