Intertech Flooring Wins
University of Texas Contract
(October 8, 2002 - AUSTIN, TX ): Commercial
flooring company Intertech Flooring has been awarded a contract
to provide flooring services to The University of Texas.
Intertech Flooring will provide floor covering products and
services to departments and buildings throughout the University
complex. The contract is awarded for one year, with options to
renew annually for four additional years.
"We have a long-standing relationship with UT, and are
delighted to be working with the University again this year," said
Intertech Flooring CEO Bill Imhoff. "This contract is highly
sought after among our competitors, and we are honored that UT
placed their confidence in Intertech's team."
Intertech has managed numerous projects with The University
of Texas in the past. Notable past projects include the new San
Jacinto Hall, Walter Webb Faculty Center, Applied Computational
Engineering and Sciences Building, Belmont Hall Letterman's Lounge
and Texas Club.
Intertech Vice President Terry Bessire will serve as project
team leader. Bessire has more than 23 years' commercial flooring
experience and has been involved in University of Texas at Austin
projects since 1986.
Intertech Flooring provides commercial flooring products, installation
and maintenance to clients throughout Texas and the Southwest.
The company's Austin office was established in 1988 and its San
Antonio location is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
