Intertech’s Commitment to Workforce Education
Our philosophy is simple. We believe that investing in workers results
in better work.
That commitment can be seen within our own company, and throughout
our community.
Within our own company, we developed the first and only Apprenticeship
Program for certified flooring installers that
enables apprentices to earn a college degree, as well as a journeyman’s
license. Intertech managers assist as instructors and mentors in
the Apprenticeship Program. In fact, many of them are apprenticeship
graduates themselves.
But Intertech’s commitment to workforce education goes beyond
our own Apprenticeship Program. We are long-time active supporters
of Central Texas’ WorkSource, the publicly-funded workforce
system in Travis County, Texas. Read
