Benefits
- Medical Insurance. Issued through Blue Cross
Blue Shield, Intertech Flooring offers preferred-provider organization
(PPO) coverage. The monthly premium is paid 100% by Intertech
Flooring for full-time employees. The employee has the option
to add dependent coverage for an additional cost.
- Dental Insurance. Intertech Flooring also
provides dental coverage through Guardian Insurance. The monthly
premium is paid 100% by Intertech Flooring for full-time employees.
Plus, the employee has the option to add dependent coverage
at reasonable group plan rates.
- Life Insurance. Every employee receives
a free term life insurance policy in the amount of $20,000
through Guardian Insurance. Optional (convertible) life insurance
for the employee and family members can be purchased up to
$100,000, at a reasonable group rate.
- Disability. Intertech Flooring provides
long term disability at no cost to the employee through Guardian
Insurance. The employee may purchase Short Term Disability
at our reasonable group rate.
- 401K. Employees are offered a 401K Profit
Sharing Plan with company matching contributions based on profitable
operations at management's discretion. The plan has a wide
range of mutual funds in which to invest for retirement savings.

Drug Free Workplace
Intertech Flooring is committed to providing a safe and healthy
workplace for its employees. To this end, applicants for employment
are required to submit to pre-employment drug testing and periodic
random drug screens while employed. In addition, certain Intertech
Flooring customers may require drug testing of workers before
allowing them on their job site. Employees must agree to such
testing as a condition to continued employment.
Safety
Safety in the workplace is Intertech Flooring's number one concern.
All employees are responsible for helping to prevent accidents
and injury to themselves and others. The company maintains and
enforces a comprehensive set of safety rules and regulations.
In addition, due to the physically demanding nature of the installation
work, the company maintains a physical job description of the
work requirements. Applicants may be required to submit to a
physical testing to ensure their ability to perform the physical
tasks.
